There’s an old saying that nothing in the world is free – maybe the guy who came up with that old saying didn’t know about free government grants. Free government money in the form of federal funding opportunities is available for minorities, businesses, individuals, communities, not for profit organizations, faith based organizations and more. Why would anyone turn down free money from the government?
Minorities: Free government grants for minorities are provided to help overcome disparities for those seeking a better life for themselves and their families. These are provided as free government money for education, rebuilding after a disaster or bringing a substandard home up to local code.
Businesses: Free money from the government is available for businesses and business owners who take the time to learn the requirements and application process. Businesses can win free government grants to expand their business, do business with the government and sometimes even expand into foreign countries.
Individuals: The United States federal government offers free government grants to individuals from entities such as National Endowment for the Arts, the National Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Endowment for the Humanities and even the Department of the Army! Free government grant money is available to attend college and in some cases, earn a graduate degree. Other federal resources are available in addition which is almost the same as free money from the government in the form of federal assistance to qualified families and individuals.
Communities: Free government grants are available to communities from the Corporation for National and Community Service to help pay for inner-city restoration and cleanup, the Department of Housing and Urban Development offers free grant money to demolish and rebuild and the Environmental Protection Agency supplies free money from the government to help clean up lakes, streams and estuaries.
Not for profit organizations: Not for profit organizations have an enormous amount of free government money available to them, if they hold a 501-C-3 status with the Internal Revenue Service. There is free money from the government to help feed the homeless. There are free government grants opportunities available to nonprofits for education, training, job creation and more. There are even free government grants available for not for profit organizations without a 501-C-3 status!
Faith based organizations: The Federal Government has assumed a fresh and invigorating position in interacting with and providing faith based affiliations with both the tools they need and increased opportunities to win free government grant money. Once dismissed at the federal level, religious oriented human service entities have shown to be an admirable and dependable provider of services in which the federal government has taken renewed interest. While there is no free money from the government available for general services or songbooks, there are now several entities within the federal government that now offer free government grants for churches.
Okay – maybe the guy who came up with that old saying didn’t know about free government grants. Free government money in the form of federal funding opportunities is available for everyone from minorities, businesses, individuals, communities, not for profit organizations, faith based organizations and more. Once you learn the basics, it’s not as hard as it seems at first and its well worth the effort when seeking free money from the government.
